Automatic Threat Assessment
Fusing friendly-asset tracking with sensor detection to separate known from unknown
Radar sees everything. Without a friendly ID layer, you cannot tell threat from teammate.
Existing radar and sensor systems detect every object moving through a zone — authorized or not. That raw detection data is only useful if you can classify it. Without a live friendly-asset layer to match against, every radar return is a potential alert, and operators spend their time chasing their own teams.
RTS provides that identification layer. Authorized vehicles and personnel carry RTS trackers. When interfaced with your existing radar system, the platform can compare radar tracks against the live friendly list — anything that does not match a known RTS asset is flagged as unknown movement for the operations center to action.
No asset classification
Radar detects motion but cannot identify who or what is moving. Every return requires manual verification against a list that may be outdated.
Alert fatigue
Without a friendly ID layer, sensors generate constant false positives against authorized assets. Operators tune out alerts — including real ones.
Slow threat isolation
Separating a real unknown from known-friendly traffic takes time the operations center does not have during an active incident.
How RTS Solves It
RTS provides the friendly-asset layer
Every authorized vehicle and personnel unit carries an RTS tracker. The platform maintains a live, verified list of known assets and their positions.
Your radar provides the detection layer
Existing radar, thermal, ADS-B, AIS, or camera systems detect all physical movement in the zone — regardless of whether the object carries a tag.
Interface separates known from unknown
When interfaced with your sensor system, RTS can compare radar tracks against the live friendly list. Movement that does not match a known RTS asset is flagged for response.
Operations center sees the combined picture
Operators see friendly assets, uncorrelated radar tracks, and automated alerts on a single map — without switching between systems.
Where This Applies
RTS deploys as a standalone platform or integrates into your existing systems. The same solution scales across sectors, adapting to your infrastructure, regulatory environment, and operational requirements.
- Airports: RTS tracker data on airfield vehicles and personnel is fused with surface movement radar to flag any untagged object moving on or near runways and taxiways.
- Security & Defense: RTS-tagged security teams and response vehicles form the friendly layer; integrated perimeter radar or CCTV detection surfaces untagged movement in restricted zones to the operations center.
- Seaports: Port vehicles and personnel carrying RTS trackers are matched against terminal CCTV and AIS vessel data; unresolved movement near secure berths or restricted areas is automatically flagged.
- Autonomous Driving & Proving Grounds: RTS tags on manned and autonomous test vehicles are cross-referenced with radar or lidar tracking all objects on the test surface, isolating any unauthorized entry in real time.
